Laser Skin Rejuvenation

If you have skin discoloration or signs of aging on your face or neck, you may be a good candidate for laser skin rejuvenation. At Tutela Plastic Surgery, we offer a variety of machines to treat various skin concerns and help you have glowing, beautiful skin.

What is Laser Skin Rejuvenation?

Laser skin resurfacing uses aesthetic lasers to reduce the appearance of skin discoloration, signs of aging, scars, and more to improve the look and feel of the skin by triggering your body’s natural collagen production. At Tutela Plastic Surgery, we offer the following laser treatments:

BBL HERO

BBL Hero treatments employ broadband light (BBL) to treat a number of skin concerns including pigmentation, photodamage, acne, redness, and more. Light energy is used to stimulate collagen production, improving the appearance of skin anywhere on the body.

Forever Young BBL

Forever Young BBL uses broadband light (BBL) energy to dramatically improve the appearance of the skin. Not only does this treatment reverse skin damage, but it also boosts the skin’s ability to prevent the appearance of new damage. It is ideal for targeting and treating aging skin, rosacea and redness, age spots, sun spots, and acne.

Halo

The Halo laser is a hybrid fractional laser that uses both ablative and non-ablative energy to treat multiple layers of the skin. This treatment is ideal for targeting hyperpigmentation, uneven skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles, scars, and enlarged pores.

Am I a Good Candidate for Laser Skin Rejuvenation?

You may be a good candidate for laser skin rejuvenation if you wish to address uneven skin pigmentation, sun damage, scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, or more for a more youthful, radiant glow. However, this treatment may not be right for you if you have very deep wrinkles or sagging skin or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

What Can I Expect from Laser Skin Rejuvenation?

During your laser skin rejuvenation treatment, a topical numbing cream may be applied to the treatment area to ensure that you are comfortable. Laser light will then be directed to the treatment area to stimulate collagen and improve skin tone and texture. Treatment time may vary depending on the treatment chosen and the desired results.

How Long is Recovery from Laser Skin Rejuvenation?

Following laser skin rejuvenation, your skin may look and feel as if you have a mild sunburn. However, you should be able to go about your normal activities within 24 hours. You will be able to notice a great improvement in your skin after 5-7 days when all of the treated skin has sloughed off.
