Young, healthy-looking skin contains an abundance of a naturally hydrating substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). But as you age, sunlight and other factors can reduce the amount of HA in your facial skin, causing it to lose structure and volume, and creating unwanted facial wrinkles and folds. Other factors also contribute to the signs of facial aging including the resorption of bone and fat, and the gradual descent (sagging) of the soft tissue.
WHAT IS RESTYLANE?
Restylane in the Northern New Jersey Area is another HA (Hyaluronic Acid) product that is used as a filler for facial injections. Where Restylane differs from other HA fillers is that it is very thin and works well in areas that are not very deep, like your “Tear Trough”. This is the area just below your eye near your nose. With Facial aging the volume in this area deflates and sags, creating a hollowed “skeletonized” appearance. Restylane is a great way to add volume in this area and give you a younger refreshed look. Restylane is also used as part of Lip Enhancement. (See Lip Enhancement)
